Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central square of Sighnaghi, head east on Shota Rustaveli Street. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the end of the street. You will see a large wooden sign pointing towards St. George Church. Turn left onto a narrow path that leads uphill. Follow this path for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at St. George Church, which is located on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

    From the Sighnaghi Museum, exit the museum and turn right onto G. Abashidze Street. Walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right path that leads uphill for about 150 meters. You will see the church on your left as you approach the top of the hill.
