Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Rustaveli Avenue, head east towards Freedom Square. Walk straight down Rustaveli Avenue until you reach the intersection with Pushkin Street. Turn right onto Pushkin Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You will see Freedom Square directly ahead. The square is marked by a tall column topped with a golden statue of St. George.

  • Walking

    From the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, exit the theatre and turn left onto Rustaveli Avenue. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Pushkin Street. Turn right onto Pushkin Street and keep walking until you reach the end of the street. Freedom Square will be in front of you, easily identifiable by the monument in the center.

    If you are coming from the historic district of Old Tbilisi, make your way to Liberty Square Metro Station. Exit the station and walk towards the square, which is just a short distance away.
