Walking
From the center of Mtskheta, head south towards the Mtkvari River. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the bridge that crosses the river. Once across the bridge, turn left and walk along the riverbank for another 15-20 minutes. You will see signs pointing towards Tbilisi. Follow these signs as they lead you into the city. As you approach Tbilisi, keep walking straight until you reach Lado Gudiashvili Square, which is located in the Old Tbilisi area.
Public Transport
From Mtskheta, walk to the main bus station, which is located near the entrance of the town. Look for a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Tbilisi. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Lado Gudiashvili Square. Once you get off, head east for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the square.
