Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Avlabari Metro Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue. Turn left and walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the street named Asatiani Street. Turn right onto Asatiani Street and continue walking for another 200 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the street leading towards the Narikala Fortress. You'll see the Tbilisi City Wall on your left. Continue walking until you reach the wall's entrance.

    If you're near Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba), exit the cathedral grounds and head down the hill towards the river. Follow the riverbank along the path until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the Tbilisi City Wall, located on the hill across the river. This route will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

    From the Avlabari neighborhood, you can also head towards the Peace Bridge. Walk straight along the Shota Rustaveli Avenue until you see the bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs leading to the Narikala Fortress. The Tbilisi City Wall is adjacent to the fortress. This scenic route will take about 25 minutes.
