If you are near the Charlottenburg area, head to the nearest U-Bahn (subway) station, which could be 'Wilmersdorfer Str.' on the U9 line. From there, take the U9 train towards 'Rathaus Steglitz.' After 2 stops, alight at 'Kurfürstendamm' Station. Transfer to the U1 line by following the signs in the station. Take the U1 towards 'Kottbusser Tor' and get off at 'Bahnhof Zoo' (which is 3 stops). Exit the station and walk towards the south on Budapester Str. until you reach the intersection with Hardenberg Str. Continue straight ahead, and you will find Eingangshäuschen at the entrance of the Zoologischer Garten Berlin.

Locate yourself near the famous Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church on Breitscheidplatz. From there, head south down Budapester Str. until you reach the intersection with Hardenberg Str. Continue straight, and you will find Eingangshäuschen located at the entrance to the Zoological Garden.
