Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by entering the A2 autobahn towards Berlin. Once you approach Berlin, merge onto the A100 towards Zentrum (City Center). Continue on the A100 until you reach the exit for B96 towards Tiergarten. Follow B96 to the center of Berlin, and then follow signs for Mitte. Litfaß-Platz is located at 10178 Berlin, which is in the Mitte district. There are parking options nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around €2-3 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  For public transportation, take a regional or intercity train from Brandenburg to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station). The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the S-Bahn (suburban train) and take the S5, S7, or S75 lines towards Alexanderplatz. Get off at Alexanderplatz station, which is a major hub. From Alexanderplatz, it’s a short walk to Litfaß-Platz, just head west through the square.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch a direct bus from Brandenburg to Berlin. Look for bus services such as FlixBus or other regional providers. Once you arrive at a bus station in Berlin, such as ZOB (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof), you can take the U-Bahn (subway) line U2 towards Pankow, and transfer at Alexanderplatz to the S-Bahn lines heading towards Litfaß-Platz. The total journey may take about 1-1.5 hours depending on waiting times.

• Walking from Alexanderplatz

  Once you arrive at Alexanderplatz, exit the station and head towards the large square. Litfaß-Platz is about a 10-minute walk. Simply navigate towards the west side of the square, and you will see the prominent roundabout where Litfaß-Platz is located. This area is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy the sights along the way.
