Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from anywhere in Brandenburg, use the A10 motorway (Berliner Ring) and take the exit for A115 towards Berlin-Zehlendorf. Merge onto A100 and follow the signs for Zentrum. Continue on A100 until you reach the exit for B96 towards Mitte. Follow B96 and then take the exit for Bodestraße. There are parking facilities nearby, but expect to pay for parking in the area.

    You can take a train (S-Bahn) from any major city in Brandenburg to Berlin. The S7, S5, or S75 lines will take you to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) and take the U6 line towards Alt-Mariendorf. Get off at Friedrichstraße and transfer to the S-Bahn again, taking S3, S5, S7, or S9 towards Alexanderplatz. Get off at Friedrichstraße and walk approximately 15 minutes to Bodestraße, where the Museumsinsel is located.

    If you prefer to travel by bus, FlixBus offers services from various locations in Brandenburg to Berlin. The bus will take you to Berlin Central Bus Station (ZOB), which is conveniently connected to public transportation. From ZOB, take the U2 subway line towards Pankow and transfer at Alexanderplatz to the S-Bahn lines (S3, S5, S7, or S9) towards Friedrichstraße. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Bodestraße.
