From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S-Bahn line S7 towards Berlin. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at Friedrichstraße station in Berlin. After exiting the station, walk towards the 'Friedrichstraße' exit and follow the signs to 'Unter den Linden'. Continue on Unter den Linden for about 10 minutes until you reach the Brandenburg Gate. From there, you can walk in the direction of the Reichstag Building, and Schinkelplatz will be nearby.

If you are in the center of Potsdam, head towards the Brandenburg Gate located at the end of Breite Straße. From the Brandenburg Gate, take a left on Wilhelmstraße and walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the S-Bahn station, then follow the public transport instructions to reach Schinkelplatz.

From the center of Potsdam, rent a bicycle and head towards the S-Bahn station at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Take the bike path along the Havel River towards Berlin. Upon reaching Berlin, continue cycling directly towards Unter den Linden. You will find Schinkelplatz a short distance from the Brandenburg Gate. The total ride should take about 45 minutes.
