Tram
From Ehrenfeld, head to the nearest tram station, which is either 'Ehrenfeld' or 'Köln-Ehrenfeld' station. Take tram line 3 towards 'Bocklemünd' or line 4 towards 'Köln-Südstadt.' Travel for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Neumarkt' stop. From there, transfer to tram line 1 towards 'Gremberghoven' or line 9 towards 'Sülzgürtel.' After about 5 minutes, get off at 'Dom/Hbf' station, which is the closest stop to Cologne Cathedral.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take bus line 140 from 'Ehrenfeld' directly towards 'Köln Hauptbahnhof (Main Station).' The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hauptbahnhof, exit the bus and walk towards the Cathedral, which is right across the street.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can head southeast on 'Ehrenfeldstraße' towards 'Bergisch Gladbacher Straße.' Continue walking along 'Bergisch Gladbacher Straße' until you reach 'Hauptstraße.' Turn right onto 'Hauptstraße' and continue straight until you reach the 'Hauptbahnhof.' The Cathedral is located directly next to the main train station. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
