Car
If you are driving from Eagle's Nest, head southwest on the B305 road towards Berchtesgaden. Continue on B305 for approximately 25 kilometers. Once you reach Berchtesgaden, take the B320 towards Salzburg. After about 7 kilometers, look for the signs directing you to the Untersbergbahn cable car. Turn left onto the Hochalm road, and follow the signs for the Untersbergbahn Bergstation. There is parking available near the base station, but be mindful that parking fees apply.

To reach Untersbergbahn Bergstation via public transport, start by taking a bus from Eagle’s Nest to Berchtesgaden. Look for the bus line 841 or 842, which should take you to the Berchtesgaden main station. From there, transfer to bus line 25 towards Salzburg. Get off at the 'Untersbergbahn' stop. The cable car station is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends.
