Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Erfurt Cathedral (Erfurter Dom), exit the cathedral and head southeast towards the Domplatz. From Domplatz, walk down the main street called Michaelisstraße until you reach the intersection with An d. Stadtmünze. Turn left onto An d. Stadtmünze, and you will find the Kleine Synagoge at number 4 on your left.

    From the Erfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the tram stop in front of the station. Take tram line 1 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the Anger stop. From Anger, walk southeast along the streets until you reach An d. Stadtmünze, where you will see the Kleine Synagoge at number 4.

    If you are near the Krämerbrücke (Merchants' Bridge), walk towards the southeast end of the bridge and follow the street called Krämerstraße. Continue until you reach the intersection with An d. Stadtmünze. Turn right onto An d. Stadtmünze, and the Kleine Synagoge will be located at number 4 on your left.
