The Bremen Town Musicians Fountain is located in the heart of Erfurt's Altstadt on Große Arche, making it easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From Domplatz (Cathedral Square), walk south along Domstraße, then turn left onto Michaelisstraße. Continue onto Fischmarkt and then turn right onto Große Arche. The fountain will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. From the Krämerbrücke (Merchants' Bridge), walk east along the street Benediktsplatz, then turn left onto Große Arche. The fountain will be on your left. The walk is approximately 2-3 minutes.

If arriving by tram, the closest stop is Domplatz. From Domplatz, follow the walking directions above. Alternatively, you can take tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to Anger, a major transportation hub. From Anger, walk east along Angerstraße, then turn right onto Fischmarkt, and finally turn right onto Große Arche. The fountain will be on your right. A short trip ticket (Kurzstrecke) on the tram costs approximately €1.80.
