If you're in the city center, start at the Freiburg Cathedral (Freiburger Münster). Head south towards Münsterplatz, which is right in front of the cathedral. The Museum für Stadtgeschichte is located at Münsterplatz 30, just a short walk from the cathedral. You will see the museum's entrance as you approach the square.

If you are further away, you can take the tram line 1, 3, or 5 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Freiburg Rathaus' stop. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk. Exit the tram and head south on Rathausgasse, then turn right onto Münsterplatz. The museum is located at the eastern side of the square at Münsterplatz 30.
