Walking
If you are in the city center, head towards the Freiburg Cathedral (Freiburger Münster). From the Cathedral, walk northwest on Münsterplatz towards Untere Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schusterstraße. Turn left onto Schusterstraße and follow it until you see the signs for Schlossberg. Ascend the path leading up the hill to Schlossberg, where you will enjoy a stunning view of Freiburg.

Tram
From the main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 2 (in the direction of 'Zähringen') or tram line 3 (in the direction of 'Vauban'). Get off at the 'Schlossberg' stop. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs pointing towards the Schlossberg. You will find the entrance to the trails leading up to the observation deck.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental locations in the city. Head towards the city center and make your way to Bertoldstraße. Continue on until you reach the entrance to the Schlossberg Park. Follow the bike paths that lead up the hill, which will bring you to the observation deck with fantastic views of Freiburg.
