If you're starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south on Bismarckallee. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and walk until you reach the historical city center. From there, follow the signs to Schwabentor and head towards the pedestrian area. Once you are at Schwabentor, continue straight until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Waldstraße. Walk down Waldstraße for approximately 15 minutes until you arrive at Waldseestraße, where Stefanienbrunnen is located.

From Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 towards 'Zähringen'. Get off at the 'Hauptstraße' stop. From there, walk along Hauptstraße until you reach Waldstraße. Turn right onto Waldstraße and walk straight for about 10 minutes. After a short while, you will arrive at Waldseestraße, where Stefanienbrunnen is located.

From the city center, head towards the river and follow the bike lanes along the Dreisam River towards Waldstraße.
