Getting There

  • Car

    From Fussen, head south on B17 towards Reutte. Follow the B17 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with the B2. Take the exit onto B2 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on B2 for about 18 kilometers, then take the exit for Ettal/Linderhof. Follow the signs for Linderhof Palace from there. The address is Linderhof 12, 82488 Ettal. There is a parking lot available at the palace.

    Start at Fussen train station. Take the train towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen (RE or RB trains). After about 30 minutes, get off at the Oberammergau station. From there, you can take bus line 9622 towards Ettal. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may be limited. The bus will take you directly to Linderhof Palace.
