Getting There

    From Heidelberg, walk to the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can get there via public transport or by walking, depending on your current location. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket to Karlsruhe. Trains frequently run to Karlsruhe, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the departure board for platform information. After arriving at Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to exit the station.

    After exiting Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof, you can take tram line 2 or 4 towards 'Rintheim' or 'Kaiserstraße'. The tram stop is right outside the main station. Get off at the stop called 'Kaiserstraße', which is a central location. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Karlsruhe Botanical Garden. Head north on Kaiserstraße, turn right onto Hans-Thoma-Straße, and the garden will be on your left at Hans-Thoma-Straße 6.
