    If you are starting from the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bismarckstraße. Turn right onto Bismarckstraße and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Willy-Brandt-Platz. Cross the intersection and continue walking straight as the road becomes Untere Straße. Follow Untere Straße until you reach the Neckar River. Once you see the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank for about 500 meters until you reach the Nibelungenbrücke.

    From the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 5 towards 'Heidelberg, Alte Brücke'. Get off at the 'Bismarckplatz' stop. From Bismarckplatz, transfer to bus line 33 heading towards 'Heidelberg, Ziegelhausen'. Get off at the 'Neckarbrücke' stop. From there, walk straight for about 300 meters along the riverbank until you reach the Nibelungenbrücke.
