Getting There

  • Train

    From Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a regional train towards St. Goar. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the train schedules on the Deutsche Bahn website or app. Once you arrive at St. Goar station, exit the station and walk towards the Rhine River.

  • Walking

    After exiting St. Goar station, turn left and walk towards the river. Walk along the riverside promenade (Rheinallee) towards the north. Follow the signs for Tal der Loreley or keep heading towards Sankt Goarshausen. This scenic walk will take about 30-40 minutes.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from St. Goar, you can take a local bus that goes towards Sankt Goarshausen. Check the local bus schedules for the next departure. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to Tal der Loreley and follow signs to the scenic spot.
