    From Lüneburg Heath, head northeast on the B209 towards Hamburg. Follow the B209 for about 30 kilometers, then merge onto the A7 motorway towards Hamburg. Continue on the A7 for approximately 25 kilometers. Take exit 28-Hamburg-Volkspark towards B4/B75 and merge onto B4. Follow the signs for Hamburg-Centrum. After about 6 kilometers, follow signs for St. Pauli/Überseebrücke. Park your car at a nearby parking facility and walk towards Überseebrücke. The Cap San Diego will be visible at the dock.

    From any location in Lüneburg Heath, take a regional train (RE) towards Hamburg. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Disembark at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (central station). From there, you can take the U-Bahn (subway) line U3 towards Barmbek. Get off at the station Landungsbrücken. From Landungsbrücken, follow the signs to the ferry terminal and take a short walk to Überseebrücke. The Cap San Diego is located at the dock. Note that the ticket for the train costs around €10-15, and the U-Bahn ticket costs about €3.
