Getting There

  • U-Bahn

    Start your journey by taking the U-Bahn (subway) to Marienplatz station. If you're anywhere near the city center, simply find the nearest U-Bahn entrance and board the U5 or U6 lines heading towards Sendlinger Tor. Once you arrive at Marienplatz, exit the train and follow the signs to the escalators leading up to the square.

  • Walking

    Once you are in Marienplatz, take a moment to admire the stunning architecture of the New Town Hall. From the square, head southeast towards the Tal street. You will pass by the historic Glockenspiel at the town hall. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Tal 50. Isar Gate will be on your right, just a short walk from the main square.
