Walking
If you are starting from the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head east on Bahnhofstraße. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Königstraße. Continue straight until you reach the Hauptmarkt, a large square with the beautiful Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) on your left. From the Hauptmarkt, walk towards the street called Spitalkirche and continue onto the street until you see the bridge called Kettensteg ahead of you.

From the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Langwasser Süd. Get off at the station 'Plärrer' (2 stops). At Plärrer, transfer to the tram line 8 towards Gebersdorf. Get off at the stop 'Kettensteg'. The bridge will be just a short walk from the tram stop, heading north.
