Walking
If you are starting from Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Königstraße. Turn right onto Königstraße and continue walking until you reach the Lorenzkirche (St. Lawrence Church). From there, continue straight to the end of the street, where you will find the beautiful Hauptmarkt. Cross the main square and head towards the river Pegnitz, which is just a short walk from the Hauptmarkt. Once you reach the river, look to your left and you will see the Karlsbücke (Karls Bridge) spanning the river.

Public Transport (Tram)
From the Nuremberg main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 4 or 5 in the direction of 'Ziegelstein' or 'Dortmund' respectively. Get off at the stop 'Plärrer' after two stops. From Plärrer, transfer to tram line 8 towards 'Doku-Zentrum' and ride for three stops until you reach the 'Nürnberger Burg' stop. From there, walk down to the river Pegnitz and you will find Karlsbücke just a short walk away.

If you are visiting Nuremberg Castle, exit the castle grounds and head down the hill towards the Old Town. Follow the path leading to the river Pegnitz. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several quaint bridges and eventually arrive at Karlsbücke, which is a picturesque bridge with great views of the surrounding area.
