If you're near the central train station (Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 6 or 9 towards 'Röthenbach' or 'Langwasser Süd'. Get off at 'Opernhaus' station (approximately a 5-minute ride). From there, walk about 10 minutes towards the city center. Walk down Königstraße, which will lead you directly to the Hauptmarkt.

If you are already in the old town (Altstadt), head towards the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). The Hauptmarkt is located directly in front of the church. Just follow the crowds, and you will find yourself at the vibrant market square within minutes.

If you are near the Nuremberg Zoo, take bus line 61 towards 'Nürnberg, Plärrer'. Get off at 'Plärrer' and transfer to tram line 8 towards 'Doku-Zentrum'. Get off at 'Lorenzkirche' and walk 5 minutes towards the Hauptmarkt, which is just a short distance away.

If you have access to a bike, you can cycle to Hauptmarkt. From the Wöhrder Wiese park, follow the bike path along the Wöhrder See towards the city center. Continue onto Bärenschanzstraße and take the bike lane that leads you directly to the Hauptmarkt. The ride should take about 15 minutes.
