Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the U-Bahn (subway) station located underneath. Take the U2 line towards 'Röthenbach' and get off at the 'Plärrer' station (2 stops). From there, transfer to the U1 line towards 'Langwasser Süd' and get off at 'Bahnhofstrasse' (1 stop). Once you exit the station, walk straight towards the 'Königstraße' and continue walking until you reach the 'Fleischbrücke' bridge. The total journey will take around 20-30 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Old Town area, a nice walk to Fleischbrücke is possible. Start at the Nuremberg Castle. Head down the hill towards the 'Burgstraße' and continue onto 'Königstraße'. Walk straight down 'Königstraße' until you reach 'Fleischbrücke'. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes and will give you a chance to see some of Nuremberg's beautiful old architecture.

    From the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof, you can also take tram line 9 or 11. Board the tram at the main station and get off at 'Hauptmarkt' (2 stops). From Hauptmarkt, walk towards the 'Frauenkirche' and follow the signs to 'Fleischbrücke'. The bridge is just a short 5-minute walk from there.
