From Alexanderplatz, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U2 towards Ruhleben. Get off at the stop 'Märkisches Museum' (2 stops). From the station, walk about 10 minutes east along Köpenicker Straße, then turn left onto Alte Jakobstraße. The Berlinische Galerie will be on your right at Alte Jakobstraße 124-128.

From Potsdam, take bus line 605 towards Berlin, get off at 'S Potsdam Griebnitzsee' station. From there, take the S-Bahn line S7 towards Ahrensfelde. Get off at 'S+U Warschauer Str.'
