Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head east on Breite Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, where you will turn left. Follow Friedrich-Ebert-Straße until you reach the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), a notable landmark. From there, continue straight onto Unter den Linden, and you will see signs leading you to the City Palace. It is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the train station.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 91 towards 'Babelsberg' and get off at the stop 'Am Alten Markt'. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you exit the tram, you will be right in front of the City Palace. You can easily recognize it by its distinctive architecture.

  • Walking from Sanssouci Park

    If you are visiting Sanssouci Park, exit the park from the main entrance and head towards the main road, Allee nach Sanssouci. Turn right to head towards the city center. After walking for about 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Am Alten Markt. The City Palace will be on your left, located at Am Alten Markt 1.
