Public Transport
From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Main Station), take the S-Bahn S7 towards Ahrensfelde. Travel for about 30 minutes and get off at Berlin Friedrichstraße station. Then, transfer to the S-Bahn S3, S5, S7, or S9 towards Westkreuz and get off at the next stop, which is Berlin Brandenburger Tor. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Brandenburger Tor and continue straight to reach Pariser Platz, which is located right in front of the gate.
Walking
If you are near the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, you can walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at the entrance of the palace. Take Bus 605 towards Potsdam, Zentrale Umsteige Stelle. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the last stop. From there, walk about 15 minutes to reach the nearest S-Bahn station, Potsdam Park Sanssouci. Then, follow the public transport directions above to reach Pariser Platz.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Potsdam. Head towards the S-Bahn station, Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. From there, bike along the scenic route via the Havel River and follow the bike paths leading into Berlin. You can bike directly to the Brandenburg Gate area. It is approximately a 12 km ride and should take around 40-50 minutes. Once you reach Berlin, make your way to Pariser Platz located right next to the Brandenburg Gate.
