Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Brandenburg, head towards the A2 motorway and take the exit for A115 towards Berlin. Continue on A115 and merge onto A100, following signs for Zentrum. As you approach the city center, follow signs for Tiergarten. Once you reach the Brandenburg Gate area, look for parking options nearby, such as the parking garages at Pariser Platz or Straße des 17. Juni. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around €2 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  From any station in Brandenburg, take the regional train (RE) or S-Bahn to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Once you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, transfer to S-Bahn line S5, S7, or S9 towards the city center and get off at the 'Brandenburg Gate' station. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Tourist Information center at Pariser Platz. Look for the iconic Brandenburg Gate; the center is located directly adjacent to it.

  If you're near a bus stop in Brandenburg, check for the nearest bus route heading to Berlin. You can take buses like the 726 or 730 to reach the S-Bahn or regional train stations that head towards Berlin. Once in Berlin, use the S-Bahn or U-Bahn systems to navigate to the Brandenburg Gate area. If you get off at Potsdamer Platz, it’s a 10-minute walk to the gate. Be prepared for a fare of approximately €3 for a single trip within Berlin's public transport system.
