From Rostock Hauptbahnhof (main train station), buy a ticket to Wismar. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wismar station, exit the station and head towards the town center.

After exiting Wismar train station, walk straight on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the large intersection with the B105 road. Turn left onto B105 and follow it until you see signs for 'Altstadt' where you will take a right turn onto Lübsche Straße. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the market square (Am Markt), where Wismar Altstadt is located.
