Walking
Start at the Market Square (Marktplatz) in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, which is a central location for tourists. From the square, head towards the west along the Hauptstraße (Main Street). Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the end of the street. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the left path onto Spitalgasse. Follow Spitalgasse for another 5 minutes, and you will see a sign for Johannisgarten on your right. The entrance to the garden will be just a short walk from the street.

Walking
If you are starting from the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station, leave the station and turn left onto Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Hauptstraße. Turn right onto Hauptstraße and continue walking for approximately 15 minutes. As you approach the Market Square, keep an eye out for Spitalgasse on your left. Turn left into Spitalgasse and walk until you see the sign for Johannisgarten on your right.

For those coming from the Käthe Wohlfahrt Christmas Store, exit the store and head north towards the Marktplatz. From there, continue straight onto Hauptstraße and follow the same route as described above. After passing through the Market Square, turn left onto Spitalgasse, and Johannisgarten will be on your right in just a few minutes.
