From the Market Square (Marktplatz), head south on Herrngasse street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wenggasse. Turn left onto Wenggasse and walk for about 300 meters. Gerlachschmiede will be on your right at Wenggasse 50.

If you are starting from the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for the Old Town (Altstadt). Once you reach the city walls, enter through the Rödertor gate. Continue straight until you reach the Market Square (Marktplatz). From there, follow the previous directions to Gerlachschmiede.

From the Rothenburg ob der Tauber Tourist Information Centre located at Burggasse 3, exit and head towards the Burggarten park. Walk through the park towards the city walls. Once you reach the wall, turn left and walk along the wall until you reach the entrance to the Old Town. Once inside, continue to the Market Square (Marktplatz) and follow the previous directions to Gerlachschmiede.
