Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by taking the B172 from your location in Saxon Switzerland National Park. Follow the B172 towards Sebnitz and continue for about 20 kilometers. Once you reach Sebnitz, look for signs directing you to the Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz. You will want to turn onto B183, which will take you into the park area. Herrman's Corner is located within the park's boundaries, and you’ll find parking available in designated areas nearby. There may be a parking fee, so keep some change handy.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, begin your journey by taking a train to Sebnitz. You can catch a train from major nearby cities like Dresden or Bad Schandau. Once you arrive at Sebnitz station, exit the train and look for local bus services heading toward the Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz. Specifically, you want to take Bus 241, which will take you directly to locations near Herrman's Corner. The bus ride may take around 30 minutes. Be sure to check the local bus timetable for the most current schedules, and be aware that a bus ticket will incur a small fee.

• Hiking

  If you prefer a more active approach, consider hiking to Herrman's Corner from a nearby starting point such as the Sebnitz town center or the nearest bus stop. From Sebnitz, follow local hiking trails that are well-marked and lead into the Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz.
