A single bus fare within Augsburg zones 10 and 20 costs approximately €2.70. Alternatively, from Königplatz, take bus 41 in the same direction and alight at the same stop. Consider purchasing a day ticket if you plan to use public transport extensively within Augsburg, which costs around €7.50 and covers unlimited travel within zones 10 and 20. Note that the free stops around Königplatz and the main railway station are one stop in each direction.

From Augsburg-Morellstraße DB station, exit the platform and turn right. Follow the path out of the underpass, then turn right again into the Prinz-Karl-Viertel. Continue for approximately 500 meters until you reach the Dampflokhalle entrance on the right side of Firnhaberstraße. Alternatively, from Augsburg Haunstetterstraße station, take the exit towards Haunstetterstraße. Turn right onto Haunstetterstraße, then take the first right onto Schertlinstraße, followed by the second left onto Firnhaberstraße. Walk for about 500 meters to find the Dampflokhalle entrance on your right.

From the B17, take the exit towards Kongresshalle/Alte Universität/Eichleitnerstraße. At the traffic light, turn right towards Kongresshalle/Alte Universität, then turn right onto Unterfeldstraße. Pass through the railway underpass and continue onto Firnhaberstraße. The Dampflokhalle entrance to the Railway Park will be on your left. Parking is available on-site. Parking fees are not explicitly stated, but expect to pay a standard hourly or daily rate. As an alternative, Parkhaus Alte Uni Augsburg, located at Eichleitnerstr. 34, 86159 Augsburg, is a 10-minute walk away. Daily price is €12.
