From Trechtingshausen train station, the most convenient way to reach Burg Reichenstein is by taking the local bus line 691 towards Trechtingshausen, Morgenbacht. The bus ride is very short, approximately 1 minute, and drops you off close to the castle. The bus runs infrequently (approximately three times a day from Monday to Friday), so check the schedule in advance. A single bus fare costs approximately €2-€4. Alternatively, it's a pleasant 25-minute walk from the train station to the castle. Follow the signs towards Burgweg.
