    Walking

    If you are starting from the Würzburg Residence (Würzburger Residenz), head south on Residenzplatz towards Hofstraße. Continue on Hofstraße until you reach the intersection with Balthasar-Neumann-Straße. Turn left onto Balthasar-Neumann-Straße and walk straight until you reach Julius-von-Sachs-Platz. The Botanical Garden will be on your right at Julius-von-Sachs-Platz 4.

    Public Transport

    From Würzburg Main Station (Würzburg Hauptbahnhof), take bus number 14 towards 'Zellerau'. Get off at the 'Botanischer Garten' stop. The Botanical Garden is a short walk from the bus stop. Head north on Julius-von-Sachs-Platz, and you will see the entrance to the garden.

    Biking

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike rental stations. Start from the city center and head towards the river. Follow the bike paths along the Main River, and when you reach the bridge at Alte Mainbrücke, cross over. Continue straight on driving towards Julius-von-Sachs-Platz. The Botanical Garden will be on your left once you reach the square.
