From the inner courtyard of Marienberg Fortress, locate the entrance to the Fürstengarten, which is slightly hidden to the left of the portal of the Marienkirche (St. Mary's Church). Follow the marked path to the garden entrance. The walk involves a slight incline and some steps.

From Würzburg city center, take bus line 9 towards 'Festung' (Fortress). Note that this bus operates only from April to October. Get off at the 'Festung Marienberg' stop. From the bus stop, walk through the fortress gates and into the inner courtyard. Then follow the walking directions above to reach the Fürstengarten.
