The Puttensäule is located in the Altstadt (Old Town) of Würzburg, making it easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From the Würzburg Residence, walk east towards the city center, passing the Marienkapelle. The Puttensäule will be visible in a small square. From the Old Main Bridge, walk straight into the Altstadt; the column is a short walk from the bridge. No special transport or tolls are required.
