From Zugspitze, head south on B2 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on B2 for about 4 km. Take the exit toward Grainau and merge onto Eibsee Straße. Follow this road for approximately 5 km until you reach the parking area for the Eibsee Lake. From the parking area, follow the signs for the hiking trail towards the Sitzbank/Blick Auf St Johannes. The trail is well-marked and will take you to the viewpoint.
