Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Ho, the capital of the Volta Region. Head west on the N1 highway until you reach the junction at Adaklu-Anyigbe. Turn onto the road leading to Adaklu-Anyigbe and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow the signs for Kalakpa Resource Reserve until you reach the FFMP+MCF location in Ahunlife. The total distance is about 30 kilometers and should take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transportation

To reach Kalakpa Resource Reserve via public transportation, go to the main bus station in Ho and look for shared taxis or buses heading towards Adaklu-Anyigbe. The fare is typically around 5-10 GHS (Ghanaian Cedi). Inform the driver that you are headed to Kalakpa Resource Reserve. The journey will take approximately 1 hour.
