Getting there

Car

From Sogakope, head east on the main road (Aflao Road) towards Keta. Continue driving for approximately 25 kilometers. As you enter Keta, keep an eye out for road signs directing you to the Keta Port Lagoon. You will arrive at WX3P+6PX, Keta, which is the coordinates for the lagoon. There is no entry fee for accessing the lagoon.

Public Transportation

Take a shared taxi from Sogakope to Keta. The taxis usually leave from the central taxi station in Sogakope and the fare is about 3 GHS per person. Inform the driver you want to go to the Keta Port Lagoon. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Keta, you might need to walk or take a short motorbike ride to reach WX3P+6PX, Keta.

Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

If you prefer a more direct route from Keta town to Keta Port Lagoon, you can hire a motorbike taxi (locally known as Okada). After arriving in Keta by shared taxi, look for Okada drivers near the market area. The fare should be around 5 GHS for a short ride to the lagoon. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
