If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Sefwi Wiawso. Head west on the Nkyinkyim Road towards Bibiani. Continue on the Nkyinkyim Road for approximately 40 km until you reach the junction to the Nkwanda area. Turn left onto the road toward Nkwanda, and follow the signs for Ankasa Game Reserve. It is advisable to use a GPS device or a reliable map for navigation, as some roads may not be well-marked. Be aware that the roads can be bumpy in certain areas, so drive carefully.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Sefwi Wiawso to Bibiani. Buses are available at the local bus station, and the fare is approximately 5 GHS. Upon arriving in Bibiani, you will need to take a shared taxi to Nkwanda. The shared taxi fare is about 10 GHS. Once in Nkwanda, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Ankasa Game Reserve. It's a good idea to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

For a more local experience, consider using a motorbike taxi (commonly known as 'Okada'). From Sefwi Wiawso, you can hire an Okada to take you directly to Ankasa Game Reserve. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically ranges from 20 to 30 GHS depending on your negotiation skills and the distance. Ensure that you wear a helmet and are comfortable with the ride, as the roads can be challenging.
