From the main entrance of Alameda Botanic Gardens, head straight along the main pathway. As you walk, you'll pass various plant displays on either side. Continue walking until you reach a junction where the path splits. Take the left path that leads you up the hill. This path will gradually incline, and as you walk, you’ll notice beautiful views of Gibraltar on your right. Keep walking until you reach a set of stone steps. Carefully descend the steps, and at the bottom, turn right onto Red Sands Road. Walk along Red Sands Road for about 200 meters, and you will see The Eliott Memorial on your left, a prominent cultural landmark within the gardens.
