Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near Syntagma Square, head to the Syntagma Metro Station. Take Line 3 (the Blue Line) towards Agia Marina. Travel for 4 stops and disembark at Monastiraki Station. From Monastiraki, follow the signs to the exit onto Agiou Anargyrou Street. Once outside, turn left and walk straight until you reach the junction with Ermou Street. Turn right onto Ermou Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Athinas Street. Turn left onto Athinas and after a short walk, turn right onto Dipilou Street. The museum will be on your left at Αγ. Ασωμάτων 22.

  • Bus

    From Syntagma Square, head to the bus stop located at the square. Take bus number 550 towards Piraeus and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Platia Karaiskaki'. From the bus stop, walk towards the entrance of the square and take a left onto Eolou Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Athinas Street. Turn right onto Athinas and after a short distance, turn right onto Dipilou Street. The Benaki Museum of Islamic Art will be located at Αγ. Ασωμάτων 22, on your left.

    If you are already in the Psiri area, you can easily walk to the museum. Start from the intersection of Ermou and Athinas Streets. Walk along Athinas Street heading towards Omonia Square. After a few minutes, turn left onto Dipilou Street. Continue walking straight, and you will find the Benaki Museum of Islamic Art at Αγ. Ασωμάτων 22 on your left side.
