The train ride takes approximately 4-5 hours. Make sure to check the timetable in advance as there are limited trains.

Alternatively, you can take a KTEL bus to Kalabaka from the KTEL Bus Station at Kifissos. Take Metro Line 1 to Omonia, then switch to Line 2 (Red Line) to get to Omonia Square and catch a taxi to KTEL Kifissos or walk (about 15 minutes). Buses typically leave every hour and the journey takes about 4-5 hours.

Walking from Kalabaka
Once you arrive in Kalabaka, the Monastery of the Holy Trinity is about 3 kilometers from the bus/train station. You can either take a taxi or enjoy a scenic walk. If walking, head northeast on Trikalon Street, then turn right onto the main road leading up to the monasteries. Follow the signs for the Holy Trinity Monastery, which is located on a hill offering breathtaking views.
