Start your journey at the central square of Nafplio, known as Syntagma Square. From there, head towards the harbor, walking along the coastline. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will find a bus stop. Take note of the bus schedule, as it may vary. Board the bus heading towards Kalamata, and get off at the stop for Kalampaka. Once you arrive in Kalampaka, you will see signs directing you to the Holy Monastery of Rousanos - Saint Barbara. Follow the path that leads uphill; it will take approximately 20-30 minutes on foot to reach the monastery.

Public Transport
From Nafplio, walk to the main bus station, located near the central square. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Kalampaka. The bus ride typically takes around 2 hours. Upon arrival at Kalampaka, exit the bus and look for local signage pointing towards the Holy Monastery of Rousanos - Saint Barbara. You can either take a local taxi or walk for about 30 minutes uphill to reach the monastery.
