To reach the Heraklion Museum of Visual Arts from anywhere in Crete, take a public bus to Heraklion city. Buses operate frequently from major towns like Chania, Rethymno, and Agios Nikolaos. Once you arrive at the Heraklion Bus Station (KTEL), exit and head towards the city center. Walk straight down 1866 Street until you reach the junction with Dimokratias Street. Turn right and continue until you see the sign for Nimfon Street. The museum is located at Nimfon 3, just a short walk from this junction.

If you're already in central Heraklion, the museum is easily accessible by foot. Start from the central square (Platia Venizelou) and head towards the Cathedral of St. Minas. From there, continue straight until you reach the intersection with 25th August Street. Turn left onto 25th August Street and walk until you reach the junction with Nimfon Street. Turn right, and the Heraklion Museum of Visual Arts will be on your right at Nimfon 3.
