Walking
Start at the central bus station in Heraklion, located at 2-4 Vivilaki Street. From there, head southeast on Vivilaki Street for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with 25th August Street. Turn left onto 25th August Street and continue straight for approximately 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the end of 25th August Street, turn right onto the pedestrianized street, which becomes Koundourou Street. Continue straight for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Par. 4i Pediados Viglas. Turn left onto Par. 4i Pediados Viglas and walk for about 50 meters. The Nikiforos Fokas Votive Column will be on your right side.
