From Heraklion's central bus station on Vivilaki Street, walk southeast for 200m until you reach 25th August Street. Turn left and continue straight for 500m. Turn right onto Koundourou Street and continue for 300m until you reach Par. 4i Pediados Viglas. Turn left, and the Nikiforos Fokas Votive Column will be on your right, about 50m down the street. This walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. No costs are involved.

Public Transport
From Heraklion's central bus station, take any local bus heading towards Agios Nikolaos. Get off at the Archeological Museum stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. Walk south on 25th August Street for about 300 meters until the intersection with Koundourou Street. Turn left onto Koundourou Street and walk straight for another 300 meters. At the end of Koundourou Street, turn left onto Par. 4i Pediados Viglas. The Nikiforos Fokas Votive Column will be about 50 meters down the street on your right. A one-way bus ticket costs between €1.20 and €2.00, depending on where you purchase the ticket.
