From Kavala, head to the central bus station located at 2 Kapnergati Square. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Thassos. The ferry departs from Kavala and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Thassos. Once you arrive at the Thassos port (Limenas), exit the ferry terminal and look for the local buses. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards the Thassos Ancient Theater, which is well signposted. The theater is about a 15-minute ride from the port. Get off at the stop labeled 'Ancient Theater' and follow the signs to the entrance of the theater.

If you prefer to walk from the Thassos port (Limenas), exit the ferry terminal and head south along the waterfront. Follow the main road (Ethniki Odos Thasou) for about 1.5 kilometers.
