Walking
From the town of Kalampaka, head towards the Meteora rock formations. Start at the central square (Plateia 28is Oktovriou) and walk uphill on Trikalon Street. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the entrance of the Meteora hiking trail. Follow the path that leads up the hill towards the monasteries. As you hike, keep an eye out for signs pointing to the Panoramic View, which is located just before the Great Meteoron Monastery. The view is accessible via a short detour off the main path, offering stunning vistas of the monasteries and surrounding landscape.
Public Transportation
To reach the Panoramic View using public transportation, take a local bus from Kalampaka to Kastraki. Buses depart regularly from the Kalampaka bus station. Once you arrive in Kastraki, disembark and walk towards the base of the Meteora rock formations. From there, follow the signs to the hiking trails leading up to the monasteries, taking the same route as described for walking. This option allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while having a bit of local experience on the bus.
